Hence, the bed bugs die of starvation. Be aware that you have to keep the cover on for many months because the bed bugs can go without food for just as long.

Once you kill the bed bugs hiding in your mattress, you need to do a sweep of the surrounding areas. Since the bed bugs could hide anywhere, you have to do a thorough check.
