St. Petersburg Bowl Tickets – Touchdowns on Tampa Bay

The second annual St. Petersburg Bowl will kick off on December 19, 2009 and will likely feature teams from the Big East and the Conference USA conferences. After a successful debut in 2008, this year’s bowl looks to again be an exciting event. The game is played at Tropicana Field, famously known as the home of the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. If for some reason a team from either the Big East or C-USA conference can attend the bowl, a team from the Sun Belt conference will likely play.

No Price Change for New Mexico Bowl Tickets

This year’s fourth annual New Mexico Bowl will take place on December 19, 2009 and will pit teams from the Western Athletic Conference and the Mountain West Conference in a NCAA sanctioned game. The New Mexico Bowl is one of several managed and supervised by ESPN and is played on the campus of New Mexico University in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Gators Survive Tough Challenge From Bayou Bengals

Florida quarterback Tim Tebow shook off the effects of a concussion suffered against Kentucky two weeks ago and returned to lead the #1 ranked Gators to a hard fought 13-3 victory over #4 ranked LSU. Tebow got a good deal of help from a nasty Florida defense, and the largest crowd in LSU history (93,129) left disappointed as the Bayou Bengals offense was almost completely shut down.

Favre, Vikings Top Packers To Remain Undefeated

Brett Favre has been a large component of the Minnesota Vikings undefeated start the NFL regular season, and on Monday night he finally beat his old team, the Green Bay Packers. Favre passed for 271 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings prevailed by a 30-23 final score. With the victory, Favre has now defeated all 32 NFL teams during his Hall of Fame career.
