Finding an enjoyable Cairo holiday is easy enough these days, considering how attractively-priced leisure travel to many parts of the world now is. Also known as ‘the Triumphant City, ‘ Cairo itself is a huge megalopolis with millions of people living within its borders. Cairo is also known as “The Paris of the Nile” for a reason. Much like that French city, it’s cosmopolitan and comfortably at ease with people who come from all over the world to mingle with each other. The summer can be a time where temperatures climb up to somewhat high levels, but the year-round temperate nature of its climate can be very welcome. Hotels can range from very cheap to very, very expensive.
The history of Cairo through the millennial is fascinating and sure to be a lure to most anybody interested in seeing the ancient Egyptian kingdom in all its glory.
