As long time suffering Dolfan, I’m happy to see these guys finally getting their act together. Last night’s Monday Night Football game against the New York Jets was classic edge of your seat Dolphins football.
These Miami Dolphins have a really special running attack like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Running backs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Willams could each be stars by themselves in any other team. Together, they provide a deadly one-two punch which most defenses will have a tough time stopping. Just last night, they combined for 142 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns and 70 yards through the air!
Of course, last night’s storyline was Jet’s rookie sensation QB Mark Sanchez. But, Chad Henne, of the Miami Dolphins rose to the occasion nearly doubling Mark’s performance.
The Wildcat play being executed by Miami’s offense is a thing of beauty to watch. They have practiced these plays so much that it even had me guessing which way the ball was going at times. At the beginning of this season I thought this Wildcat was just a trick play they would use here and there, but Tony Sparano is including the Wildcat formations in the standard playbook.
The Dolphins are ranked #1 rushing and last on passing offense in the NFL. If Chad Henne keeps playing like he did last night, their passing offense could slowly creep up into decent rankings. This could only mean trouble for their opponents, since the Fin’s defense is always well ranked.
Last night’s game was a good one. Henne engineered a memorable fourth-quarter comeback, culminated by Ronnie Brown’s 2-yard touchdown run with six seconds remaining in the game, as the Dolphins knocked off the Jets in another instant classic, 31-27, at Land Shark Stadium. Miami improved to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in the AFC East with the win while the Jets dropped to 3-2 and 1-1 in the division.
Final score: Miami: 31 – Jets 27

People now days are conscious of their budgets, it seems like even ads are not getting clicked anymore! The people who used to pay $99 for silly get rich e-books have altogether vanished from this planet and moved on…
Cashing in on the Internet a few years back was child’s play. In a couple of days you could slap a website together and be making money within weeks. Times are rough, times have changed!
Many websites promising to make you rich still exist, but the schemes remain unchanged through time. Let’s take a quick look at your options:
A business opportunity that never seems to go away is MLM. Disguised in some way or another, the basic principle still remains the same. You buy into the program and pay a fee, and then get others to do the same thing. Everyone gets a piece of the pie while the website owner, gets the bigger piece.
Other old concepts still in play are the get paid for… answering surveys, clicking ads, reading emails and my favorite: stuffing envelopes! Why would anyone pay you to stuff envelopes when there are machines that can stuff thousands of envelopes per hour? Anyway, none of these schemes are really worth your time!
Don’t forget the thousands of e-books which promise you’ll become rich through adwords and affiliate programs. Those who sell these books might make a buck or two, but you probably won’t.
The newest money making opportunity is hosting your own blog site. Let’s say that you have the courage to start your own blog site. Let us also assume you found time in your busy schedule to write some articles. Now what? Your blog site is live and running, but it may take you several years to make $10. Not to mention that most advertising companies will not send your payment unless a certain minimum threshold is met, usually $50.
So, how do you make money on the Internet?
It is really easy when you have unlimited financial resources. Get some programmers, graphic designers and marketing gurus. If you’re broke like the rest of us, you may not like the answer. To make money from the Web, it takes an incredible amount of hard work, dedication and most importantly… patience!
